About me

What does your tv say about you? I "tivo" almost all of my favorites so I can watch when I feel like it (a/k/a child is in bed and husband releases remote).

I am a 40-something stay at home mom with a husband, child and dog, 2 hamsters, living in suburbia upscale Columbia, South Carolina.

Do I watch TV shows about suburbia? educational shows? No, lately this is what I'm into:







My husband wants to know why his wife is into violence, bikers, guns, drugs, foul language, tattoos and blood and guts...

Halloween is Coming

Halloween is coming up.
Marissa wants to be a witch.
OK, I know I shouln't have those thoughts.
Anyway, we're going to buy a non-spooky witch costume.

I HEART Hamsters!

Our Hamster babies are all grown now. Brownie on the left and Toffee on the right. They have the sweetest personalities. That's Katherine holding them. She's a wacky animal person too.

Snowball still wants to eat them.

Waffles

Whatever happened to plain waffles?

Remember when you used to pick the cereal box based on the toy inside?
Marissa picks out Eggo waffles based on the graphics!



She says they taste better but I don't see a difference...

The children's museum has a traveling exhibit of butterflies right now that are gorgeous.







It was my favorite part of the museum and Marissa's least favorite!
